Preferential Prices for Electricity Produced from Renewable Sources
The electricity produced from renewable energy sources, except for electricity from hydro power plants with more than 10 MW of capacity, is purchased by the electricity distribution and electricity transmission companies at the preferential prices set by the State Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (SEWRC).
SEWRC determines the preferential prices for electricity from renewable energy each year by June 30, or when after an analysis the commission identifies a significant change in any of the price determining elements.
You can review a summary of the development of preferential prices since 2011 here.
